Dary is the closest thing to a 'home depot' that I've seen in Cairo. While they may not have heavy duty construction materials like drywall and 2x4s, they have a decent selection of hardware, electrical supplies, manual and electric tools, paints, some plumbing materials, bathroom fixtures, all kinds of kitchen things, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There are also a lot of accessories for home and small gifts.
