When it comes to night life Maadi somehow looks lacking to good places... Most people would head up to the crowded area of Zamalek for partying. This has changed with Mandrin in Armada boat in Maadi. Nice ambience on the Nile, and nice music... not too crowded... They usually have guest bands like the Riff Band and the Egyptian well known entertainer Ahmed Harfoush. There is also an open air place to sit outside and enjoy your shisha or your dinner on the boat that used to be moving but it is not just still and floating. Very good option for either relaxing your senses or partying until the morning!
