المكان فقد كتير من شهرته اللى كان مكتسبها في السبعينات بس بعد ما اتجدد فى اكتوبر2009 المكان ابتدى يسترجع كتير اوى من مكانته كمكان شبابى للسهرة. المكان ده رائع علشان تقضي وقت حلو وممتع المكان الديكور يتاعه منلي بيتكون من الابيض والاسود وكمان فيه شاشات عرض كبيرة بتعرض مقاطع رقص شرقى من أفلام الأبيض و الأسود ويوم الخميس والجمعة بيكون فيه فرق بتعرض بس لازم تحجز قبل لما تروح وفي الويك اند لو مش حاجز استحالة تدخل. الخدمة كانت تحفة وسريعة جدا وكمان المقبلات فول مهروس وورق عنب وزبادى بالنعناع وكشك كل حاجة كانت تحفة الفول كان زى الكريمة وورق العنب كان مزز وكشك كان احلى مرة كلته في حياتي وكمان كان الطبق الرئيسي فراخ بالملوخية وكمان المشروبات كل ده كان ب300 بس لشخصين فكان حاجة تحفة يعنى.

wow..this is one great spot...this is a local spot that recently opened. not many tourists or expats. patrons are affluent locals - the who's who of cairo. i went a couple months ago with my girlfriend and had a blast. the egyptian mezza menu is superb and the place is just alive with great music. the decor has a belly dancer theme with the walls adorned with pictures of famous egyptian belly dancers from the past. later on in the evening a belly dancer came in got up on a table and then entire place got totally into it. apparently this happens every evening. i bet if you don't go with a local who knows someone there it might be tough getting a table...i highly recommend Arabesque!! make reservations if you can...make sure your table is near the bar not around the back to the left as you walk in. have fun!!
