Grand Cafe in general, is a great place with the best prices, but el Maadi Corniche el Nile branch is especially great. I attended my friend’s engagement celebration there and they had a special corner reserved for the occasion. Organization was great and the people were sharing our joy and happiness, and the food served there was amazing. I never thought that the food would be of that high quality, especially because it is a cafe not a restaurant, but I was surprised. As for the place itself with the view of the Nile, it's just great. Can't say anything more than that. It's great!!

Any time of the year, Grand Cafe is an exquisite place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the Nile scenery, especially at sunset. The Cafe has a modest menu of traditional Arabic food, but I usually don't eat there. I go with friends, and watch felucas sailing on the Nile. It makes a great place for a pre-dinner drink. Spring through Fall the cafe is mostly an open air terrace with comfortable tables and booths. This place is popular with expats living in Maadi (the expat center of Cairo), as well as with tourists.

جراند كافيه ده من أحلى الأماكن اللى إتعملت على الكورنيش، تقدر تستمتع فيه بمنظر النيل و كمان لو عايز تقعد فى مكان هادى، فى جزء مقفول تقدر تقعد فيه. المكان دة مناسب أوى لأى مناسبة زى مثلا عيد ميلاد أو أى حفلة لأنه واسع جدا و معروف جدا، يعنى أى حد يقدر يوصله بسهولة و أنا شخصيا حضرت فيه أكتر من عيد ميلاد، و بصراحة المكان أكتر من رائع و بيحتفلوا بأعياد الميلاد بشكل لطيف أوى. أكلهم حلو جدا و خاصة العصير الفريش، الناس هناك لطيفة جدا و المكان مناسب أوى سواء للأصحاب أو للأسرة.

I can say that grand café is the most peaceful place to enjoy your time with your friends or your folks; as the service is excellent and people there are highly respectful, helpful and friendly. And so the view is magnificent and sensational. We were not only charmed by the scenic beauty of this open-air café/restaurant, but were also delighted with the high quality of Grand Café shishas, fresh juices and grilled platters. Grand cafe is an exquisite place to sit back, relax and enjoy the Nile scenery especially at sunset … And you feel like you’re at your home with your friends and folks and the waiters are so funny and know how to make you smile.

جراند كافيه المعادى مكان لطيف جدا وليا فيه ذكريات حلوة كتير الكافيه عموما مكان مفتوح على النيل ومقسوم لجزئين جزء تحت على النيل مباشرة والجزء التانى فوق كراسيه كبيرة ويصلح للمجموعات الكبيرة المكان يصلح لعيد ميلاد و مرة برده شوفت هناك مناسبة تقريبا كانت خطوبة والمكان كان متوضب بشكل حلو جدا او حتى لتقضية وقت لطيف مع الاصدقاء او الاسرة الصراحة انا مجربتش قبل كده الاطباق لكن جربت الساندوتشات وعجتني اوي الكبدة الاسكندرانى بس ساعات الاكل بيجى مش سخن اوي اما المشروبات فانا بحب الكوكتيل جدا هناك والميلك شاك ده زائد انهم مشهورين بالشيشة ده لهواة الشيشة بس عموما انا بحب المكان ده اوي

One of the best cafes and must-see places on the edge of the Nile. View is perfect, prices are ok. But sometimes the music is too loud.

a very famous cafe in cairo and alex i like so much this branch and in Bahare in alex , sure you can imagine how the view of the nile whether at the day light or at night but i prefer it at the day light you can see the green gardens on the other side as crystal and enjoy it but at night you will find it so crowded with people most of time, so i recommend to you to go early as much as you can. their service is good , parking unfortunatly you will go around many times till you find a place to park otherwise park far away from it. about the food i would like to improve the main dishes but the desserts , juices , drinks and ice cream they are excellent with them and the most i like their ice cream when you eat it you feel as if you eat the fruit itself. it minimum charge is affordable 25 L.E and if you want to make a birthday it will be a great place to make in. hope to enjoy it as i do.
