Moon Stone is an Egyptian company with more than 20 years of experience in the field of mining, quarries and building materials. Extracting calcium carbonate from Jabal Al-Tayr in Samalout, Al-Minya and marketing , and selling it as a crushed rock product to factories in Egypt, as well as exporting it to Bangladesh and India, and also extracting iron oxide and supplying it to cement factories, oil companies and roads.

Business Description

- Moon Stone, a leading company in the field of mining, quarries and building materials, is keen to provide its customers with the purest products in Egypt, including: Calcium carbonate .

- Grinding and packing calcium carbonate with a purity of up to 99% limestone, and it ranges from (2 mm: 9 mm). The granules of calcium carbonate produced from the crusher range in millimeters, and each 1 centimeter ranges: 40 cm. It is packed in plastic bags of 50 kilos or large bags (jumbo tons).

- Fine powder The size of the powder calcium carbonate powder resulting from the grinding process of limestone ranges from micron and the degree of grinding ranges from (10 micron: 500 micron) treated and untreated according to customer demand, calcium hydroxide, CaO, Ca(OH)2

- It is produced from high quality Alive (Calcium Oxide) through lime calcination after which it is separated into 3 different sizes from zero to 10ml, 10 to 30ml and 30 to 80ml.

-The company is working on equipping all our calcination plants with packing and balling systems with sharp edges, which allow us to provide a cleaner environment and provide our customers with an incomparable product.

Talc: The milling process takes place in low degrees to reach the degree of purity and fill the talc with a purity of up to 92% to be supplied according to the customer’s request.

Feldspar:
-Extracting feldspar ore and presenting it to customers according to the request for use in thermoluminescence. This includes:

- The first high-grade type, which is silica oxide, has a percentage of 85.67, potassium oxide with a percentage of 52.12, aluminum oxide with a percentage of 43.17, ferric oxide with a percentage of 12.0, and sodium oxide with a percentage of 48.1.

- The second type is medium grade and the percentage of silica oxide is 86.73, while the percentage of potassium oxide is 02.8, the percentage of aluminum oxide is 3.14, the percentage of ferric oxide is 5.0 and the percentage of sodium oxide is 73.2.

- The third type is low grade, the percentage of silica oxide is about 21.76, while the percentage of potassium oxide is 54.4, the percentage of aluminum acid is 70.12, and the percentage of sodium oxide is 78.3.

Phosphate:
- Producing different grades of phosphate ore for different industrial uses, which are suitable for any export market

Magnetite:
- extraction of magnetite ore and supplying it according to customer demand, whether crushed or ground, with a density of up to 9.4, the percentage of iron oxide is 72%.
