Diwan bookstore, one of the best bookstores in Egypt. Whatever your type in books, whether you are a Paulo cuelo fan, like comedy books, harry potter fan, whatever your type is, you will find all the latest productions of those books in diwan bookstore. People over there are very friendly, eager to help you find whatever you need and you can go there and keep walking there to find what you want without anyone annoying you or asking you to leave. You feel like it’s your own library in your own home.
It is the best bookstore ever. Easy in search, people there are very helpful… Has many branches; wherever you are you'll find Diwan store in your area... I like it.
مكتبة الديوان من المكتبات المفضلة لدي لتفردها عن باقى المكتبات من نوعها، فهى اكثر من مجرد مكتبة تضم مجموعة كبيرة من الكتب والروايات بالعربية والانجليزية والفرنسية والالمانية والايطالية.. الخ، فهناك تقام بصفه دائمة ورش عمل ومحاضرات وحفلات توقيع لاحدث الاصدارات لكبار الكتاب، هذا بجانب نشاطات مختلفة كثيرة. المكتبة من الداخل جميلة وبها مكان مخصص لمطالعة الكتب وتناول القهوة وما الى ذلك، و تضم مجموعة كبيرة من الكتب المتخصصة فى جميع المجالات. للمكتبة فروع كثيرة منتشرة داخل القاهرة ولها موقع الكتروني متميز به اخر الاصدارات واكثر الكتب مبيعاً واشياء اخرى عديدة. من اجمل الاشياء التى تميز مكتبة الديوان هو انك تستطيع ان تطلب كتاب بعينه اذا لم تجده داخل المكتبة وسوف يقوموا بالاتصال بك عندما يصل. اعتقد انها من اكثر المكتبات تميزاً داخل مصر.
Diwan is a great place to find that book you have been looking for. It is not always that easy to find current english language best sellers or some other categories of books. This is not a very big book shop but its shelves are fully stocked. if they don't have the book in stock they will order it for you. just check with the front desk. there is also a small cafe and juice bar in located in the shop with a couple of tables. the atmosphere is very friendly. they are sell nice candles and they also have dvd's and music. the shop is located just across the street from maison thomas in zamalek. i recommend this book shop.
