Though I have never dined inside the restaurant, I am impressed by La Rosa's home delivery service. Ordering is so easy, as La Rosa's menu is available on Otlob.com. My husband and I usually order a Margarita (20 LE) and Fungi (30 LE) pizza and always have enough for leftovers. The pizza crust has a home-made taste, making this my favorite pizza in Cairo. Our order always arrives hot and will often come with one complimentary piece of brochette bread. I’ve also ordered the Tiramisu dessert, which I find very tasty.

La Rosa; IT IS THE MOST ROMATIC PLACE l HAVE EVER HAD DINNER IN, cause l am a great fan of Italian atmosphere, you will love the place so much and feel as u are in a real Italian restaurant, the tables is in Red & white, classic type of candles are lighting the place. l think it is suitable for all kind of occasions: family or romantic. They serve tasty pizza, light and delicious ingredients especially the seafood pizza, and the best thing l like there is espersso, which is served in a real Italian way, as it is served in the traditional Italian boiler. The price is average, one pizza costs around 30-35 LE. It is located in a very quiet place in Degla- Maadi, the street after the CAC, but may be u will not find a place to park easily cause the street is narrow!

Definitely agree with the Family Man....la rosa is a great spot... Not too fancy but always solid consistent Italian food. They have great pizza & brochetta (not sure how to spell that) plus they let you bring your own bottle of wine. Love the pictures of Omar Sherif on that wall too. This place is definitely worth a visit. Thumbs up!

La Rosa restaurant is a hidden gem in Maadi. The owner used to live in Italy and decided to create a "real" Italian food restaurant upon his return to Egypt. It is a small restaurant, I estimate it can seat max 30 pax and the decor is not the main attraction. It has recently become a non-smoking restaurant which I am very appreciative over. Everything is made from fresh ingredients. No canned food here. The fresh mushroom appetizer is slightly cooked in olive oil with fresh garlic and parsley and served on crunchy French baguette slices. Yummy. The soups are delicious and a the tomato soup is a personal favorite of mine The seafood marinara is made from fresh tomatoes and loads of seafood. The pasta is cooked al-dente and it is literally a joy for every bite. My kids normally have the salmon pizza and the crust is thin and crispy, the toppings are generous and it comes on the table steaming hot just out of the oven. One pizza is normally enough to feed my two girls aged 9 and 7. Prices are very reasonable ranging from LE 20 for appetizers to LE 30-40 for pasta dishes to LE 60 for meat main courses. A definite MUST TRY

La Rosa's offers a nice range of Italian food and exceptionally good pizza. Their take out/delivery is equally as good as their dine in service. Don't be afraid to try the beef dishes, they will melt in your mouth.
