ستافولتا محل كده مش باين عرفته صدفه وانا فى البنك الاهلى ورجلى خدتنى وكان الجو حر وطبعا كلت ايس كريم ومن ساعتها خدت المدام وصحابى واى حد اقوله لو عايز تاكل ايس كريم مكلتش زيه قبل كده ومش هتاكل زيه غير من هنا بجد جامد جدا جدا المحل صغير اه لكن نظيف لاقصى درجة وزحمة لكن مبتحسش لان الخدمه ممتازة وسريعه وكمان عشان مفهوش كراسى جرب الايس كريم بالمكسرات والمانجه والكريز كوكتيل تحفه ومش هتاكل غير من هناك بعد كده.

My husband and I love Stavolta! What a wonderful surprise to find a true Italian gelato shop in Maadi. We usually treat ourselves to Stavolta once a week. The shop is very small with no seating. It is extremely clean, bright and modern and service is fast. I have tried the Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip and La Dolce Vita. Delicious. My husband likes the pistachio. The gelato is available in a choice of sugar cone or bowl. There are also gelato cakes available. As "Family Man" stated above, the scoops are very large, so they are worth the 10LE per scoop.

I had heard about the homemade ice cream from Stavolta and I went eagerly with my kids yesterday to try them out. Expectations were high and we were most certainly not disappointed. The service was smiling and even though my kids tried almost every flavor before deciding on the perfect combination for them the gentleman behind the counter was always smiling and accommodating. In the end I had the Tiramisu and La Dolce Vita and my kids had Mascarpone and Tiramisu as well. Our nanny had the raspberry and berry and cream and by the look and sound of everyone it was a true hit. I don't eat a lot of ice cream but this was really fantastic. My only regret was that it was too hot for me to bring ice cream home for my wife whom I am sure would have enjoyed it as well. Next time I will bring an ice box so I can bring the ice cream home. I found prices to be reasonable as they charge LE 10 per one scoop but it is a very large scoop. One of the best ice cream places I have tried here in Egypt. A must try.
